This page showcases projects I am currently working on and some things I have created in the past.
First is the 2012 direct mailer I created for Dr. Jennifer LaQuay, DMD. The mailer is two-sided (click for pdf) and folds to 9×6 with perforated coupons inside. We mailed 4 drops of 5,000 each for a total of 20,000 pieces. As a result of the 2012 marketing campaign for Dr. LaQuay, production went up 12%.

Next is the rebranding I am currently working on for Dr. LaQuay. She promotes whole-body wellness as oppose to focusing solely on dentistry, so that’s the direction I went with the rebranding. I created a new logo for the office as well as a slogan: ‘Beyond Your Smile…with the 6 essentials to well-being’. The 6 essentials include oral health, systemic health, mental health, nutrition, sleep and exercise. The rebranding includes the new logo, website and recreation of all materials to have a consistent look. In addition, the office will be re-vamped to create a more calming effect and will have a referral program. The referral program will tie in the ’6 essentials’ by giving patient’s information on local doctors, chiropractors, personal trainers, nutritionists and so on.

I am currently designing and building this website for Dr. LaQuay. I am building it with WordPress, CSS, HTML and PHP.
I am also currently working on a website for the Erie Times-News Guild. The image below is a first mockup, and I created the seamless background that is in the header and footer. The goal is to create a vintage/newspaper/typography feel.

The next piece is a 2012 calendar I created for Healthy Start, Inc. The word-find idea came to me and the marketing committee loved it, the theme of the calendar being ‘What can Healthy Start, Inc. do for you?’.

I have created an array of projects for Healthy Start, but the majority of what I designed were educational materials. Most of the educational pieces had a limited budget, and were printed in-house. Other projects – like the calendar above – I was given free rein to design what I thought worked. Below is a sample of a few more pieces I created for HSI, including a consortia brochure, an educational valentine we mailed to our participants and the design for the 2011 Highmark Walk t-shirt (2011 was Healthy Start’s 20th anniversary).
